Question:
Can you Pressure Wash My Windows?
Answer:
No.
Here's why - first of all pressure washing won't get your
windows very clean anyhow and second it requires too much pressure to get them clean
which could
damage the seals.
Note:
When doing roof cleanings
or when washing siding and other areas around the windows, it is
often necessary to rinse the windows but without full pressure. Some
major soiled spots such as bird droppings on your windows may come
off with light pressure but a pressure washer should never be looked
to for a thorough window cleaning.
Question:
Can
you wash my windows using conventional means?
Answer:
Practical Pressure has done several jobs which involved
cleaning windows but generally we recommend that you have
someone who specializes in that field do the cleaning.
Question:
I just have one or
two that I can't reach on the outside which need cleaning,
can Practical Pressure clean those for me while you're here
to clean my roof/etc?
Answer:
We could definitely accommodate you.
Question:
I
am going to have some power washing done and have someone else do
my windows; which should I have done first?
Answer:
Power washing should be done first. Whether it's your roof, siding,
walkways, deck or anything else relatively close to your windows, some
dirty water will most likely find it's way onto your windows, even
though we rinse it off your windows will stay cleaner longer if you do
the pressure washing first and then have the windows cleaned.
Question:
My regular window cleaner
doesn't do skylights can you wash those for me?
Answer:
Yes we do clean skylight exterior glass.
